2020-Now: Change and Adaptability
- The global COVID-19 Pandemic strikes, drastically changing the face of healthcare. Now more than ever there was a need for home-based nursing. Huge changes such as full PPE for visits or office staff working from home caused a need for new ways of doing business
- The Walpole office moved from 55 West St to 85 West Street as operations expanded.
- By this time, the VNA operated not only home-based nursing and therapy services but also offered a Palliative Program, a Public Health Nurse, and Maternal Childhood Health services.
- By late 2023, the two branches were further unified, and we look forward to the future of the organization. The Natick-Walpole VNA currently has 86 employees and an operational budget of $8,000,000.
